Valor Mortis is currently listed as a single-player game. No co-op or PvP mode appears in the announced store features, and the PS5 store explicitly says “Offline play enabled.”

What each platform store says

The current store pages describe the published feature set as follows:

PlatformPublished mode and service information
SteamSingle-player, Steam Achievements, Steam Cloud, HDR, and Family Sharing
PlayStation 5Offline play enabled and 1 player
Xbox Series XS and PC

None of those listings currently names cooperative play, competitive multiplayer, or PvP.

Do Steam Cloud and achievements mean multiplayer?

No. Steam Cloud and achievement services are not multiplayer modes. Cloud saves can move or preserve save data across supported devices, while achievements record account progress. Xbox cloud saves and Xbox achievements are likewise platform services, not evidence of co-op or PvP.

Can I play Valor Mortis offline?

The PlayStation Store explicitly labels the PS5 version “Offline play enabled” and lists one player. The Steam and Xbox pages do not use that same PS5-specific label, so it should not be extended into a universal offline guarantee for every PC and Xbox setup.

Could multiplayer be added later?

The current answer concerns the announced launch feature set. The store pages do not list co-op, PvP, or crossplay, but that does not predict whether the developer might announce another mode in the future. This page will be updated if an official feature announcement changes the published listings.
