Does Valor Mortis Have Denuvo? DRM & Offline Status

Denuvo is not currently named in the Steam store or EULA. The EULA has generic technical-protection language, which is not a product-name disclosure.

As of September 30, 2026, Denuvo has not been named or disclosed for Valor Mortis on its Steam store page or in the Steam-hosted EULA. That is the current disclosure status, not a guarantee that the PC build is DRM-free.

What do the Steam store and EULA say?

Source checkedWhat it discloses
Steam storeNo Denuvo name or third-party DRM notice was displayed in the reviewed store information
Valor Mortis EULAGeneric technical-protection language, including license management, product activation, and other security or monitoring technology; it does not name Denuvo

The EULA's broad protection clause allows for technical controls without identifying a specific vendor or product. It therefore should not be rewritten as either “Denuvo confirmed” or “Denuvo-free.”

Can the PC version be played offline?

The Steam page lists a single-player game but does not publish a specific PC offline-play promise. The reviewed materials also do not name an always-online requirement. Those two observations leave PC offline behavior unconfirmed until the shipped build and account requirements can be tested directly.

The PS5 store's “Offline play enabled” label applies to that console listing; it is not proof of the PC version's offline behavior.

What is the Steam Deck status?

Steam Deck compatibility was shown as Unknown in the reviewed Steam information. An unknown rating does not establish that the game is unsupported, Verified, or Playable, and it does not answer how any activation or offline behavior will work on the device.

When was this checked?

The disclosure check above was completed on September 30, 2026. Store notices, EULA text, compatibility ratings, and launch-build behavior can change, so this page should be checked again when the PC version is available.

Sources and scope

  • Steam Store — checked for the current feature, compatibility, and third-party DRM disclosures.
  • Valor Mortis EULA — checked for named DRM products and used for the generic technical-protection language described above.
  • PlayStation Store — used only to keep the PS5 offline label separate from PC claims.
